What do I need in order to use TattooZen?
All you need is an internet connected device with a modern browser.
Do I need to download any software?
There's no software necessary to download and install.
Do I need to buy any additional hardware?
No additional hardware is necessary. However, TattooZen does support hardware peripherals such as credit card readers, barcode scanners, and receipt printers.
Do I need to sign a contract?
No contract to sign. TattooZen is a subscription based solution that is month to month.
Does TattooZen work Internationally?
We currently support the following languages: English, Japanese, German, Russian, and Spanish. TattooZen will automatically detect the culture settings of the device you are using.
Do you offer training and support?
Yes. We are happy to assist anyone who needs help using the system.
How many users can I have?
No limit. TattooZen is a per user, per month subscription based solution designed to support however many users you may need.
Does TattooZen support using more than one device sharing the same data?
Yes. TattooZen allows for multiple devices to be used under a single user account.
Does TattooZen support multiple studio locations sharing the same data?
Yes. TattooZen allows you to create multiple studio locations and assign specific user accounts and even product inventory to them.
Performance and Security
Is TattooZen stable and reliable?

Is my data backed up?
Yes. TattooZen automatically backs up your data in case of data loss, deletion, and corruption.
Does TattooZen work on any device?

What internet browsers does TattooZen support?

Does TattooZen manage my inventory?
Yes. Inventory levels can be set and tracked through the system and they can be automatically deducted upon entry of new sales transactions.
Does TattooZen scan barcodes for merchandise?
Yes. TattooZen supports barcode scanning for your products.
Will I be able to collect and store information on my clients?
With TattooZen you can schedule appointments, set reminders, print waiver forms, scan ID cards, as well as maintain client profiles and their purchase history.
Credit Card Processing
Can I accept credit cards?
Yes. With TattooZen you can accept credit cards online via any device.
Will my existing credit card processor work with TattooZen?
TattooZen can be integrated with the following merchant accounts: Authorize.Net, Google Checkout, and PayPal.
I do not currently accept credit cards, can TattooZen set me up with a Credit Card Merchant Account?
Yes. We can set you up with an Authorize.Net Payment Gateway and have funds deposited directly into your bank account.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes. TattooZen is an online web application that can be accessed from any device with an internet connection and modern browser.
If my internet goes down, can I continue ringing up sales?
No, not with the current release; however, our next major release will allow for local caching of data in the event of internet interruption.
Can I export to accounting softwate such as QuickBooks?
Yes. Easily exports to QuickBooks and other accounting software that allows for the import of Excel or CSV file formats.
Can I track financial transactions?
